Updated COVID protocol
In an effort to try to decrease wait times, and because of the soaring temperature outside, last week we opened our doors to do a trial run allowing those of you who are comfortable coming into the hospital to do so. We will still provide curbside service to those of you who prefer to wait in your car. If you still prefer to remain outside, please text us when you arrive at (747)203-9936 and tell us your name, your pet's name, what you're here for, and where you are parked. Otherwise, come on in!
However, in order to maintain the recommended distance we can only accommodate a certain number of people in the hospital at one time, so we are asking that only one person come into the hospital for your visit. We request that additional family members remain in the car. We also require that you wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth at all times. If you are unable to do so, please remain in your car, but know that when a staff member comes out to your car, you should be wearing your mask while interacting with them.
For appointments we will have you come into an exam room (unless you choose to remain in your car), but the doctor will be performing the examination in our treatment area while you stay in the exam room. The doctor will then call you to discuss their findings, and go over any concerns. We will have you remain in the exam room until your visit is complete.
We are not taking any walk-ins at this time, but are taking drop-offs in limited numbers. Please call to check availability.
If you are here for any reason besides an appointment, we will ask you to take a seat in the lobby on one of the orange cushions while we help you.
We have also reduced our phone hours to allow the receptionists time to finish up the extra work COVID has created. Our phones are active from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and 9:00 to 5:00 on Sunday. You can email us at anytime for non-urgent matters, and we will get back to you as soon as we can, which may be the next day.
For prescription requests, please give us 24 hours to have them authorized and filled.
We realize this way of operating can be frustrating for everyone, and we ask for your patience during this very stressful time. We hope that one day soon we can go back to a less distant form of service, but until that time we will strive to keep everyone as safe as possible while still helping our beloved friends.
